Why are we using public transportation?

Because it reduces costs and final rates.

Because it simplifies logistics, helping us to keep focus on the vital aspects of the tours.

Because public transportation network in Czech Republic is exemplary and allow us carefree and efficent travel.

Because contact with local reality is increased by the use of means of transportation available to the general population.

What make us unique?

The offer of unusual programs.

Our passion for this sort of work.

Availability of attractive activities at low cost.

The culture of detail.

The idea came one evening, around a table and a few beers. It was the end of a well spent day for this group of friends. Earlier they had been hiking throughout magic trails, somewhere in the Czech countryside, looking for the remains of a lost medieval castle, surrounded by the greenish Spring landscape. In that evening the Czech Fun Fan project was born.

What we suggest is, if not unique, at least rare: a chance to the common tourist to reach places and experiences usually reserved to the local population. With a rising touristic industry, Czech Republic has its market saturated with companies offering conventional tours to the usual sightseeings, which are by now stripped of their original charm.

We are willing to share these secret corners, still standing as virgins behind the constant flowing of tourists. We want to explore together all those gorgeous places: industrial and ruins and abandoned military facilities, raised in socialist splendour, now reduced to mere remainings, forgotten witnesses of a lost age; mountain trails running amongst scenic rock formations. We want to show people unfound lands, share the savour of a properly pickled Czech cheese and fresh local beer in pubs where no foreigner ever entered.

Sharing our knowledge is what we like the most in this job. But be aware: we don't deal with dates and facts and all the kind of stuff that you would normally expect from a touristic guide. When we are out there with a group with keep our focus in the simple joy of a good conversation while we keep an eye on the track. Instead of a bit of trivia, you will rather expect some insight views of Czech lifestyle, society and History.

We try to make friends out of our customers, looking forward for their return to Prague. If not as clients, at least as companions for a beer, somewhere in the joyfull evenings of Prague.

Finally we would like to mention that as a practical result of our concept, we are able to offer low rates for a private tour. You will be paying as much as you would in a common tour, eventually less than that.

In an isolated village, the only available place to get some
refreshments was a private house. Its owner is indeed used to help
out locals and travelers in the need of a fresh drink.
